Meet the Planner Behind Romance in Bloom

Hi, I’m Kiara. I’m the wedding planner and founder behind Romance in Bloom Weddings & Events.

I’m a mum, a fiancé, a proud German Shepherd mum and a lover of all things romantic, creative and beautiful. i’m happiest when i’m bringing ideas to life, getting stuck into the little details and helping people create moments they’ll remember forever.

For me, wedding planning is about more than making a day look beautiful. It’s about getting to know the people behind the celebration and creating a wedding that feels completely and authentically you.

My Story

My journey into wedding planning was’t something I had planned from the beginning.

While I was at school, I found myself drawn to organising events. I helped organise art events at school and loved everything that came with bringing an idea to life, from planning and organising to seeing everything come together on the day.

Then my mum got engaged, and I became her Maid of Honour and unofficial wedding planner! I loved being involved in the planning process, helping with the details and watching everything come together for someone I love.

That was when I started thinking, why not give wedding planning a shot?

My first wedding was actually my brother’s. I treated it as a test run, a chance to see what it was really like to plan and coordinate a wedding and, more importantly, to figure out whether this was a career I could genuinely see myself pursuing.

By the end of the day, I had my answer.

I loved every part of it. The planning, the little details, the problem-solving, the excitement and seeing everything come together for a couple on such an important day. That night, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue.

From there, I decided to take that feeling and turn it into something of my own. That’s how Romance in Bloom Weddings & Events began.

I created Romance in Bloom because I want couples to feel supported throughout their wedding journey and to have someone in their corner who genuinely cares about the details. Whether you need help bringing your vision together during the planning process or someone to take the reins on the day itself, my goal is to make your wedding experience feel as enjoyable and seamless as possible.

I’m still growing my little business and learning along the way, but i’m incredibly excited about where this journey is taking me and even more excited about the couples I get to meet along the way.
